Tang removal for coils

We have developed a pneumatic tang break-off tool for use in breaking off the driver pin of a coil within an automated production line. It consists of a pneumatic cylinder attached to an electric linear unit that we have modified and optimised with respect to weight and speed. Removal of the sheared tang is reliably monitored by means of sensors.
