One blind rivet nut for all grip ranges.
In the meantime, a real classic and very typical of HONSEL. Originally designed individually as a special article, the HONSEL development was the first series-produced blind rivet nut with multigrip properties as early as 2007.
Production from other materials, in different sizes or versions (under-head serrations, hexagonal shank or as a closed version) possible on request and with sufficient order volumes.

The primary advantage lies in their universal multigrip properties. Unlike conventional blind rivet nuts with narrowly defined grip ranges, a single OPTO size covers the span of several standard sizes. This prevents the mixing of grip ranges during production, drastically reduces product variety, and leads to tangible savings in error and inventory costs.
The HONSEL OPTO is manufactured in thread sizes M4, M5, M6, and M8. It is available in the OPTO-SFM version (zinc-plated steel, flat head, open shank) and the OPTO-SSM version (zinc-plated steel, countersunk head, open shank).
Depending on the diameter, the clamping ranges extend flexibly from 0.5 mm to 7.5 mm.
